COVID-19 Notice

As the impact of the Corona virus continues to grow in our nation and state, threatening us all especially the weakest among us, the elders have made the very difficult decision to suspended all meetings at the building until further notice.  We are planning to have a video/phone service on Sunday mornings.  Please contact one of the elders or send a message using the Contact Us link for info on how to join.

We want the congregation to know that we do not take this decision lightly. Our decision is not based in fear, but is based on the recommendations of public health officials and stems from our sincere love for our brethren and for our neighbors, with particular concern for those who are most vulnerable.

While our entire community is affected by this virus, let us continue to pray for those most impacted, especially those who have contracted the virus, the health care workers who are on the frontlines, and our government officials who are making difficult decisions for the good of our community.

Though we cannot assemble to worship and study, we must not neglect our spiritual needs and duties. Please set aside time, particularly during times that we would normally meet, to study and meditate on the Scriptures and to offer praise and devotion to the Lord. Remember to set aside weekly contributions as the congregation continues to have financial obligations it must meet and as needs for benevolence may arise during this difficult time. Let us encourage one another through calls, texts, and notes and seek to serve one another as we are able.

Please inform the elders and other members of the congregation of any need that you have. If you need recommendations or assistance with your studies, devotional time or other spiritual resources, please let us know.

We will continue to evaluate this situation on a weekly basis and will communicate with you as decisions are made. Please contact the elders with any questions or concerns.

We must continue to pray for one another. As your shepherds, we would request that you pray for us as we seek to make godly decisions which best feed and protect our flock.

We look forward to all of us being able to assemble to worship and edify one another when this situation has subsided.

May the Lord be with you and all your loved ones, both near and far
